Maris James is deeply devoted to the craft of storytelling. She believes stories are one of the ways we make sense of people, pain, and the world around us. Words, when chosen carefully, can be healing. Through her writing, she seeks to open hearts, invite courage, and remind readers not to stay tangled in the roots of what has already been lived. New stories often wake her in the quiet hours of the night—a relentless, beautiful calling she has learned to honor.
